OCCASIONAL PART TIME ON-CALL STATIONARY ENGINEERS

HCE is looking for qualified people to be available on-call for 12 hour rotational shifts as required.

4th Class Stationary Engineers

Qualifications:

  • Valid 4th Class Stationary Engineer Certificate registered with TSSA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical plant operations
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical systems, HVAC, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Experience in a cogeneration or combined heat & power facilities preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, investigate and report issues with the Building Automation System and input data, create and file reports
  • Maintain the plant and equipment including regular, emergency and demand services
  • Troubleshoot, repair, clean, test systems and equipment to ensure a fully functional, safe and clean work environment
  • General housekeeping
